Sins of the Flesh was no exception. I like to read my books in order so I read Fern Michael's Sins of Omissions first then read Sins of the Flesh. I only rated it with a 4 because I felt there were a lot of loose ends at the end of the story. Maybe another book to follow to tie up all the loose ends?.

Jesse Sikes is the most brutal and ruthless protagonist I've encountered. While the book had classic scenes of 80's scenarios and frightful moments, I thought Jesse's encounter with his parents was sort of cringe worthy especially with his mother (the way he talks to her).

Sins of the Flesh had something different about it in comparison to the four books prior to it. I'm not sure what it is, I think there was difference in the language or the way it was written.
